If a splog outranks you then someone really needs to reconsider many many things.
One of the things google checks is the time of the posting, so 99% of the time, your post is gonna be first.

Great comment reply Trevor.<br

If you didn't have the link you would be getting NOTHING from the splog ripping off your content. 3.) Look around for information on duplicate content a bit more...its not as black and white as you think.

Well 1.) if the splog is going to outrank your blog, your blog probably sucks. 2.) Isn't it? Then, how come if the splog blog have better ranking then our blog that present the original content?

Yes, we will get multiple backlink if someone scrape our full feed, but remember..we also WILL get the multiple duplicate contents. It is also easier to keep them on your site when they are actually at it, compared to them reading the feed. A bit further down the road I will try out using summaries just to see the response and difference in traffic flow.I think overall though I will keep the full feed. Seems to be what the majority of readers want.

Yeah it is nice to get them physically at your site, I will agree with that. The reason I use summaries however, is that I want people at my site, exposed to my brand, while they read my ramblings :)

Decent concept.
