I see now. I was expecting the KW to be passed through the url and be viewable on the page (like with Yahoo), but with google I will need to analyse my logs.

I have actually been bombarded with emails from people wondering if I would be willing to sell my tracking script. I had absolutely no intention of selling this, but since everyone is wanting it maybe I will be able to pull something off.

I will keep everyone updated through my blog and will create a post as soon as the script is ready to be distributed. It could be a month, it could be two months…but it will come

Hey Marc,

The keyword information IS passed on through the url with Google. For instance here is a url grabbed from my log.

http://www.google.com/search?q=weightloss commercial&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hs=yPh&start=20&sa=N

The actual keyword being searched for and then passed on in the url is “weightloss commercial”.

Nice post. I’ve been searching for the tracking script that you describe without much success. Is there a way that I can purchase o copy of the one that you had your friend program for you? I would love to be able to buy a copy. Please let me know.

Hi Trevor. I just found ur blog and have bookmarked it as it looks like a great resource.
One question I have is: I can see how you could pass the actual keyword phrase searched for down into the affiliate network SubID using php using YAHOO. However, I can not figure out how to do this with google, as the keyword phrase is not passed through the url I dont think.

Any help will be much appreciated.
